What are the Temple of Fire and Arcanis Floating Temple?


불의 신전은 마족의 첫 번째 인스턴트 던전으로서 세 번째 지역인 모르헤임의 중심부, 무스펠 화산지대에 위치하고 있다. 이곳은 용암이 흐르고 화산재가 사방으로 튀는 장소로서 대부분이 얼음평야인 모르헤임의 분위기와는 전혀 다른 분위기를 풍기고 있다.
The Temple of Fire is the first instanced dungeon for the Asmodians, located in the heart of Morheim within Muspel Volcanic Zone. The splashing sparks and bubbling lava provide a starkly contrasting atmosphere compared to the rest of the predominantly icy ecosystem.

Today, we'll be exploring Arcanis Floating Temple-- where players will proceed with the mission "Key to the Chasm", which will grant entrance to the Temple of Fire.




Countless named monsters and sparks of judgment


아르카니스 공중신전은 크게 공중던전과 다섯 개의 작은 부유대륙과 용암바닥으로 구성돼있다. 각 부유대륙에는 칼크겔름, 드레이크와 데카르비아, 옵스큐라, 가고일, 판도라겔름 몹들이 무리 지어 자리잡고 있으며 용암바닥에는 불꽃의 정령과 바실리스크들이 살고 있다.
Arcanis Floating Temple can largely be divided into the main floating temple, five floating platforms, and the magma floor. Each platform fosters (please excuse my inconsistent romanisation) Kalkgelm, Drakes, Dekarvia, Obscura, Gargoyle, Pandoragelm in groups, while Fire Spirits and Basilisks roam the magma floor.


그리고 각각의 대륙에는 각기 하나씩의 네임드가 존재한다. 공중신전 앞에도 네임드 한 마리가 오가고 있으므로 놓치지 말자. 참고로 드레이크와 데카르비아의 대륙에서는 네임드를 확인하지 못했다.
Each platform also features a Named Monster. There's one right in front of the floating temple as well. Named Monsters could not be confirmed on Drakes' and Dekarvia's platforms, however.
'Stonefist Sapiro' of Kalkgelm platform--small and swift. Beware of the adds.


'Observer Ulrika' of Pandoragelm Platform. All the mobs around it have ranged capabilities-- be careful while in flight!


'Arcanis Rock' of Gargoyles' and Tempelgelm platform-- it sure does live up to its name. Takes a hell of a lot of hits.


'Soul Reaper Hazaan' of Obscura platform. Beware of spell feedback, a trait common among all Obscura.


'Sparks of Judgment' of the magma floor. Not only does he sit in the middle of the lava but also has ranged capabilities. The battle takes place while the player is in flight mode. One mob that I couldn't defeat.




Quests of Arcanis Floating Temple




아르카니스의 공중신전에는 특별한 거점이 존재하지 않는다. 다만 아그니타의 충복인 불라간을 통해 불의 신전으로 향하는 자격을 얻는 미션 ‘심연의 열쇠’를 진행할 수 있다.
There aren't any special strategic points in the floating temple. However, you can obtain the quest 'Key to the Chasm' which will permit entrance into the Temple of Fire in order to proceed with the mission.




미션의 최종 목적은 물의 방과 바람의 방을 거쳐 불의 방에 있는 심연의 열쇠를 가져오는 것이다. 아쉽게도 물의 방 문지기를 처치하지 못 한 탓에 이 이후의 과정은 볼 수 없었다. 하지만 스토리 상으로 유추해봤을 때 이 심연의 열쇠를 통해 불라간이 말했던 불의 신전에 갇혀있는 아그니티를 구출하는 것이 불의 신전 최대의 목표가 될 듯하다.
The main objective of the mission is to bring back the Key to the Chasm located in the Chamber of Fire by going through the Chamber of Water and the Chamber of Winds. Unfortunately, the latter part of the quest could not be shown because I could not get past the guards of the Chamber of Water. One can assume, however, from the story that the ultimate objective of the mission will be to rescue Agniti imprisoned within the Chamber of Fire using the Key to the Chasm.



참고로 불의 신전은 이미 이전의 '시공의 균열' 영상 천족편을 통해 아주 약간이나마 공개된 적있다. 평범한 동굴과 비슷한 내부에는 거대한 문으로 막혀있고 이를 통해 공중신전과 연결되는 방식이었다.
Note: The Temple of Fire had previously been shown briefly on a video featuring 'The Gap in Time and Space'. There's a big shut gate inside an ordinary looking cave, and through the gate one can gain access to the floating temple.

불의 신전에서는 네임드의 위력에 걸맞게 다양한 아이템을 얻을 수 있다. 아쉽게도 이번 토벌에서는 희귀템까지만 얻을 수 있었지만 네임드의 수나 레벨 등을 볼 때 전승 혹은 유일 등급의 아이템도 노려볼 수 있을 것이다.
You can expect a variety of items from the Named Monsters in the dungeon. Unfortunately, the best we got from this raid was a rare, but looking at the number of Named Monsters and levels, it's likely that we might be able to see unique items drop as well.
