lol, they'll all max Aion with no problems. ATi's and nVidia alike.

While I agree the 8800GT has the best single card bang for buck.. I would still recommend the GTS, it overclcoks like a beast - as shown in the Howlrig thread where I've OCed components to varying degrees and posted 3dmark06 scores.

The current 9 series is heavily influenced by the GTS architechture aswel, the 9800GTX shares practially all the same specs as the 8800GTS - though I can't help but feel nVidia are holding the GTS back via the drivers to make the 9800GTX seem "better".

Also, to save Kalean posting this... While ATi don't offer the same performance as nVidia cards, they do over better visual quality than nVidia, crossfire also scales better than SLi - and you can crossfire on Intel boards, whereas you need an nVidia board to use SLi.. Intel boards being far superior to nVidia boards -- makes ATi and crossfire a very viable option.

Give ATI some love
Same reason people don't mention the 9800GX2... because it's just 2 cards running crossfire on 1 board. It's not a single GPU solution - and a thread like this seems to be catering the single solutions only.
