I have chosen to follow the noble path of the Templar. o/
And I chose the Templar because of some factors, i will give you ten:

  1. I usually play as tank in MMOs. Its my style and imo i have the cold blood needed to NEVER run away when your Hp is almost gone.
  2. You are also the first one to enter an area, and sometimes the last to leave. You usually lead the party and need to choose the right path, what enemies can you hold off and never forget that most of the time your party survival depends on your habilities to hold the line.
  3. On RPGs i love to RolePlay Paladins and Knights, so as an RPlayer, i really like the Templar.
  4. I dont mind being useless in 1x1 PvP. If i have good skills to be a good asset on group PvP, wich the Templar seems to have.
  5. Come on! Epic names FTW! I totally agree with you Theron! xD
  6. Sword and Shield looks very very nice!
  7. Those kickass heavy armors! *-*~
  8. If im not mistaken, in the videos the templar have the skill to attract monsters atention. Thats VERY usefull in PvE, almost a must have for any party. If they get the skill to absorb the damage taken by party members... Man, templars will be AWESOME and a MUST in any battle.
  9. Being able to stand your ground on the front line... Tanking face to face that huge badass raid boss that would kill almost any other person, man... there is no price to that feeling.
  10. To be able to die for your party, hero style, priceless... This one always sells me out to the tanking classes.

So, imo, the coolest class to play evah! ^___^~

AND... as i finished posting, i saw Otium's post. I must quote him because he said it very well! o>

Hence, even if Templars deal low damage - which was confirmed already by beta players - no one will try to avoid you since they keep in mind that you are not going to be of any harm. However, you'll be able to freely root and stun people. Stunning a healer for example, is pretty much game over for him.

Also, keep in mind that even if you deal low damage, you'll survive for so long that you might just be able to wipe your opponent.

All this is applied to partyVSparty PvP. 1vs1 should be a different story but... who cares about it when we'll be rolling masses and sieges at the abyss?
