Yes I agree it took me 5 hours to post this as my Vista crashed 84 times.
Sorry to disappoint you but you are one of those vaque people. I work in an IT department and have friends who work in 'repair shops' and have seen these issues. I'm happy for you that your customers have horrid luck or aren't willing to learn the little bit of self maintenance to keep their machines running.
If it wasn't for idiots 75% of us would not have jobs.
Vista has been stable for me; The only BSOD I have had where due to hardware driver issues.

If Vista works bad on your comp it could very likely be one of 2 things; 1, your comp doesn't have the requirements "needed", 2, it's new to you and you have no idea how to use it.
