I did not choose Chanter with having a killing machine on my mind, I'm not worried by "I can't kill a Templar/Assasin/Gladiator/Ranger/Sorcerer in face-to-face, bu hu-huu!".
Skip the DPS, it should be secondary for a support class. All I want is a clear distinction between Chanter and Cleric - as up to now it seems clerics can buff too and given the info about buffs as such not playing important role in the game Clerics outpotential Chanters by far. No competition between having healing in party - as it's always one of the top priorities - and buffs that aren't essential. If not fixed (I'm quite confident that it will be fixed eventually) this could mean the death of a class.
Low lvl's are always tough for buffers, but if the game will not do anything to encourage dd classes to party buffers... wel... it's sick.
