FPS is not near as demanding as a MMO when it comes to memory and loading....5fps in a mmo IMO is a huge difference, but its all pretty much the same as long as its over 30, and minimal spikes/drops....I spent around $1k on my rig...I could play HL2 or doom 3 on near top settings at 60 or so fps. Start up L2 and load Aden town + 300-400 characters running around, and I'm lucky to hit 15. Run up the ToI 13 stairs to have a pvp of 100 vs 100 and I'm lucky to get 10fps.
