IC:
In Neptune’s mind
The invader had targeted his fears. One by one they each attempted to entangle him. There was one before him now, a puddle in blackness. It started to move, twisting and reaching it caught him. Neptune attempted to call upon the water, to calm it. "It is my element how dare it disobey me." It ignored him, crawling up his arms and legs. Now it attacked his head and he screamed silently as it burrowed into his insides. His eyes, wide with shock started to roll into his head.
There was a chill. The water that had been pumping before stilled. Ice began forming at the thinnest spots causing the water to suddenly spasm, pulling away from its victim. It reared up but couldn’t escape. In a spilt second it was solid.
Neptune has lying, mind barely hanging, while a new invader approached. This one was powerful enough that it flooded his mind with being. A gnarled hand reached down and pulled upon Neptune. With its touch Neptune was awakened and renewed. Then slowly his mind faded as it rested.
Present:
"Father?!"
They words stirred Neptune’s mind, but his body didn’t move. "It seems I am no longer alone." He cracked his eyes enough to see he was in a small cot. There was a man older then himself looking to leave when the voice had stopped him. "I can still feel this mans power even though he is hiding it" Neptune though glumly.
