Teleportation yes. With a large enough world map (and to sustain player interest I would expect it to be huge) it would not be practical to fly to leveling grounds. Unless of course the game designers have cunningly structured it, such that you naturally progress from area A to area B as you level up, and rarely go back to area A. And I'm really not fond of running for 10 minutes just to get to a leveling gruond, even at a decent speed.

Maybe your right shulie, teleportation would be better for getting to the other side of the world instantly. A catch which would make people fly instead of teleporting would be that you can gain experience and levels with flying. Flying should be classed as a skill, the higher the level the faster you can fly and perform aerial stunts or something. Teleportation should only be to places such as towns, outposts and pvp areas.
