I know exactly what you mean, my boyfriend and I actually met through gaming, and that is our favorite hobby together. ^_^ It definitely gives gaming a different experience, whether that makes it funner or better in anyway, depends on the person I assume.
For me personally, it ensures I don't have to deal with ***holes, or guys who hit on me!
