that looks perfect for a chanter btw, i really think healers would be more plate / cloth then just cloth, considering their fundamentally defensive nature.
To build on this, I hope no one armor type is uniquely "that type"
plate armor in the middle ages was worn over leather tunics and then, worn over undergarments of cloth. Most plate was composed of chain moveable joints and some plate suits covered vital parts (head, chest, feet, hands) with plate and the arms and legs in mail, in reality armor isnt that specific.
If a gladiator runs around with leather straps holding together some mesh between two pieces of plate for a chest, it would be alot more realisitic than wearing an iron barrel.
See the guy on the right, btw, he looks about right. The pants have chain links, leather covers, and the shoulders have cloth embroideries.
