I don't mind to do a bit of grinding, it can be relaxing sometimes, but it may not be the only way to level up. I love doing quests, but unfortunately in most games quest are just a way to disguise the grinding. Kill 50 mobs, deliver quest and then find out that the next npc also wants to see 50 of them dead, I don't call that questing. So I really do hope they have thought out the quests a bit better in Aion. Getting experience from crafting for example would be a good idea also.

A game where it takes years to reach the max level is great IF you joined the game at release. But it is not fair to those who only discover the game some time later, they will never even come close to being able to compete with the "veterans". I think they had that problem in EVE online, they had to speed up the "learning" process for new skills, which then again made the veterans complain that they didn't have that when they where new. That just proofs you never can do good for everyone. I suppose making the max level not to hard to reach is just a way of making sure new players keep coming in over the years.
