About quests,all the people at the beginning make the 2 or 3 in te village,although it will be a pure grind,will be awesome to discover the world,but finally nobody want to make quests when his lvl is more than 30 for example.Only original quests to make points or interesting puzzles will be the solution.In addition a good vid for the main quests will be the best choise,i don't want to play system quests of WoW or L2.
Some of them should change the world,in the case,each history's server
