There's a small possibility that this "description" of the game was just made by someone of the marketing department who doesn't know anything about gameplay and just made that statement only from looking at the poster.

Even without this description and with the info on this forum people still think that Elyos are good ans Asmo are evil, so it's not that strange that someone misunderstood something back when there was no info available.
