AionSource.com's member count:
it's greater than nine times ten to the power of three. That's pretty surprising, is it not? Who else expected us to break this record on July 4th, of all days? Viva la Indépendance!
Now that we've got that out of the way, let's set another goal:
10,000 members by AionSource.com's second birthday. We have under a month to do it, but with CBT3 running and conventions around the corner we
should be able to make it. As an incentive, and since kieron's just ended, I'll start a little contest. AionSource.com' ancient members may remember this one:
recruit people to AionSource.com! Tell people to join our forums and put to your username in the "Referrer" field when they register. It's that simple! When we hit 10,000 members I'll tally up the amount of referrals everyone managed to recruit and announce a winner. (Or winners! Hey, it's happened.) The prize will be at least an Aion poster (I still have some from two years ago, seriously) and perhaps an AionSource.com tshirt.
Speaking of shirts, that's another thing I want to talk about
: tshirt designs. At PAX and any other conventions where NCsoft is showcasing Aion (GC08, etc.) I'd like to give out some of our own
AionSource.com-branded swag. Unfortunately I don't have the kind of talent you guys do, as evidenced by kieron's avatar contest, so I need some help designing a great tshirt and perhaps a few other items. Something people would
want to wear. If anyone thinks they've got a great idea or even a mockup started in Photoshop give me a PM. I have a template for you to use if you're interested. My inbox has a capacity of 5000 messages and I only have 2440 in there. I could use a few more.
