Alright, to everyone that's seeing this as a "WoW invented the mage," post, I think you're missing what the OP is trying to say. From what I've seen the sorcerer does have a "blink" like the WoW mage, and does have a root, like the WoW mage. These two together can make for a similar style of PvP as a mage would use, which is very heavily focused on keeping the enemy away from you, not just nuking them down before they get to and if they get to you you're screwed. Two abilities may seem trivial, but these two are defining abilities of the mage in WoW, since their ability to keep people away from them is based entirely on an root and their blink. Actually, that's not true, they also have a slowing ability (chill, from all frost spells), which Sorcerers I think have, too.
Now, I'm not saying WoW invented this play style for a mage, since I haven't played all the other games out there. However, I think people in this thread are getting too hung up on the word "copy" and reading too much into. Read it instead as "Is the sorcerer in Aion going to play exactly the same as the mage in WoW?" and then you have a thread that's worth some decent discussion, rather than troll bait.
