Buy a 4870, they are only $300, and beat a $400 GT260, and can hang in some games with the GT280 for $350 cheaper (cant wait for the x2)...They are hot on stock settings, but the stock driver allows to increase fan speed (I think 17% of utilization keeps it below 70º at all times, but I've heard you can put it on full tilt and get 40º in load or something ridiculous...but it also sounds like a jet engine.
