My 8800GTS is HEAVILY overclocked and doesn't go over 65'C full load ;o
The reason alot hit 90C is because the fan is retarded and never changes speed automatically, you have to set the fan speed on it manually else it stays at about 30% - which does bugger all.

Agreed muchly, I'm even thinking of selling the trust 88GTS and grabbing a 4870. AMD/ATi really pulled their finger out this gen, last gen's hiccups was mostly due to the merger - but they're recovering very very well imho.
