Sounds like video card but I wouldn't rule the monitor out until it's been tested with a different source.

Unfortunately I can't test this computer with another monitor, and I can't test the monitor with another computer.
My video card has two DVI outs, using a DVI->VGA dongle. I can try the other output, yes. But it's extremely hard to get behind my computer without knocking something over/pulling a cable out, so I'm going to try reinstalling the drivers first-- I noticed some of my video codecs were corrupted this morning, so I reinstalled them. I'm wondering the maybe the same thing happened to my drivers.
