The codec packs should be listed in your Software menu after you go to config.
The way I got the codecs I need is by simply downloading Zoom Player,, which imo,, is the best around at the moment, it also automaticaly asks you to download some codecs which are commonly used, and then you install them with Zoom. Never have had a problem using this method. Perhaps it'll be usefull for you.
