I get the same feeling sometimes. About it lacking something.
But I'm not going to worry just yet. This game is still in beta and has time to make some changes until its' release.
Plus as mentioned before- this is only the first installment. And this game will quite surely have expansions :3
So basically- try not to worry just yet. After all- People's reviews and opinions are mostly good X3
