To be honest, if I saw a cleric on the front lines I would kill him/her first. And then whoever I was fighting would be without a healer... I don't know much about any spells or skills that the classes in Aion have, but in MMOs that I've played my team either goes all out on the healer first, or we kill anyone else that is weak (maybe a sorcerer).
