The article is pretty much right on the spot. This phenomena is not only happening with WoW players, but (specially in my case) with FFXI players as well.
I switched to AoC in hopes of something new and interesting, my beef was not just that it "wasn't FFXI", my real beef is that the game really sucked, big time. Add to that the game is pretty much a "lawless" PvP arena, the total opposite to FFXI, which is pretty much a heavily cooperative PvE game.

I'm fine with a little PvP, but when it's thrown at your face as a "requirement" to have fun, then that's a title that goes into my garbage bin.
