Regarding your worries... I would not judge about the endgame content yet nor would I say the PvE is unchallenging... there are pretty hard bosses and missions out there and it has yet to be seen how tough the instances will be
.
Also, since I have the chance to see some of the endgame content within the coming weeks, as I will be playing Aion Retail in Korea, we just need to wait and see.
I also dont think Aion will be a niche game, simply because of its perfection and very entry friendly nature. I even more think that Aion will finally open the RvR or PvP world even more to players who have never tried it before
