Yes, the 8/12 (depending on how you wish to look at it) basic classes will most likely be "almost" the same for both sides. "Almost" implies that they are likely to have 5 or 6 skills that the class of the other faction does not have.

I think he said "no mounts", although the sound quality was too poor to distinguish the "no".
Transport will, at least initially, be done by foot or by flying. There will be long-range teleportation systems and short-range travel-services in which you let the game control the flight to your destination, or something similar.
