'Cooler.' The key word. It is an opinion word, and people share different opinions. If you can fly, then do so, but what about for the heavy RPers that like to ride? Then hop off to fight an Orc or two and ride off away from the epic battle because they realized that although they have wings, they can not show up a group of orcs.
I dont know, I think people would like mounts. I would. It just adds onto the game's customizability. And that is what I play for.
