LOVED IT, LOVED IT!
This movie and 3:10 to Yuma are my two favorite recently made gunslinging movies.

I don't even really consider this to be a gun slinging movie really. Minus a couple of scenes there wasn't much slingin' of them guns.
I find it funny Casey got support role because honestly the movie was ALL about Bob Ford. Brad Pitt was the supporting actor. It definitely didn't get enough attention, the soundtrack is great (and I normally don't notice or care) the acting was superb by everyone involved. The way the scenes were shot and lit, just all of it was good. Fresh too.
I have it on Blu-ray, comes with a nice short doc about Jesse James before the events in the movie. He led a pretty interesting and brutal life.
I'm not quite sure how to take the death scene though. It was my understanding that Jesse knew the jig was up and maybe he was ready to die even. In the doc though they made it sound like the whole thing was some sort of dare. That he thought there was no way Bob would ever shoot him because he was his idol.
How'd you see it?
