Chanters just looks like D&D clerics. Which is pretty much a WoW Paladin more intent on healing than melee combat. So they have a happy medium i think. Good for a jack of all trades, hybrid class.
Rangers will most likely be a ranged damage class. I think they may have some kiting abilities and there have been words of minor heals too.
