Through theory and other methods players are eventually going to find the perfect combination of stigma to excel in DPS or Tanking. Since each class is distinctly made for a certain job there won't be any reason to choose other stigmas (other than for originality). This means that PvPvE is going to based almost solely on gear, not skill or strategy.

I have to disagree with you there.. From what I've read/heard the Stigmas should be
very useful... Imagine an Assassin for example - the idea is they mash out max damage in an instant... So in pvp your defence against Assassins would be to see them coming and kill them/run away before they get to you...
Now I'm not 100% on this part, but I've heard there's a teleport skill for mages... If the assassin gets his hands on teleport stigma, the ability to teleport in next to your target - dish out the damage, then teleport out again... Tbh that sounds like a very valuable asset to the Assassin...
Similar thing with mage classes, having the ability to wear heavy armour or any alternate to increasing melee defence would help the mage out greatly, as usually melee is a mages weakness...
Don't quote me on any of this, this is just what I've got in my head from putting things I've heard together. Feel free to correct me.
The whole auto-stat allocation thing won't make that much difference to me to be honest with you. All it's going to do is reduce the amount of chars created to "test" stats to find the optimum build, once that's found everyone will have that build anyway - thus removing the individuality anyway... Seems to me it's just cutting out a rather large tedious task (though some people enjoy it) and making the dev job of balance easier.. I don't see the drawback.
One thing thats confusing me... I read the Combo skills are chance-based... I just don't understand that... Surely if you mash skill a, skill b, then skill c.. you'll get a combo of a-b-c. Can't remember the skill names I read - but the warrior has like.. Blast - Stun - some-uber-move ... which you need to do in that order because skill c requires skill b, and b requires skill a ... I don't understand how that is "chance" ?
