Midgarsormr : I don't see why working on 6 mmorpgs at the same time will result in 6 fails whereas working on 1 mmorpg will be better. They aren't limited in the number of developer.... so 6 mmorpgs means 6 teams of developer, 6 times more people working, not 1 team working on 6 games. Plus, probably most of them aren't developing by NCSoft but published.
And, blizzard has an objective : 1 game for everyone, whereas NCSoft thinks different : more different games, because everyone don't have the same "needs". I'd rather play a horror/mature/blood/sex mmorpg with 500 000 customers, than WoW only satisfying 20% of what I'm searching for. After all, I'll be playing on 1 server, 10 000 players is enough, as long as there is updates and "monitoring".
