The Abyss
Ok well I have seen in some threads that mention the Abyss and whatnot but havn't seen it discussed into detail yet.
For one I would like to mention is about the 7 castles that are in it which are going to be occupied by the Balaur at first. These castle sieges seem to be kinda like L2 in a way atleast I think, so well anyway when you gain control a castle no pvp will go on for a certain amount of time is what I have read. This is interesting too because it gives a chance for the ruling guild of that castle be able to build it up, put guards at gates, also siege weapons, set up other defences and etc for this time. Also whichever guild controls this at the time gets access to the resources around the castle and other benefits.
Also where do the Balaur come in? Since they balance the power between the two factions will they attack a random tower of the winning side or the strongest one of the winning side? Lets say they attack an Elyos castle, will the Asmodians be able to fight along side with them to take over that castle? Or as I stated above, since the castle at first were theirs, will they attack the Asmodians too cause they are trying to take it back for themselves.
One last thing to mention is that it will most likely take raids to take over these castles, maybe 3 groups minimum but It may all verywell depend on the Strategy of the players. I don't think it has been said yet that there will be a barrier to prevent the enemy flying into the castle itself so with that in mind the Flying System can be fun for an ambush on all sides, maybe a group inside as a distraction while the outside forces destroy the defences, alot of things are possible which seem pretty cool to me.
So yeah lets see what everyone thinks on how the Abyss will be since the second CBT hasn't started yet and it's not really well known
