Instances info?

Hey,

I've seen some threads where people talked about instances, and the latest translation I've found was posted by Mark, about 9 months ago. I was wondering if there have been some recent translations about instances, including possible screenshots. If not, anyone volunteer?

Yeah I've seen those vids as well

Looking pretty sweet, even though the video quality is quite poor.

Just looking for instance(s) info itself though, how many there are, what levels. That kind of stuff.

As far as I know for each race there are currently 2 instances!

The first one you can do between level 30-40 and the second at 35-45. They usually need a little pre quest (access key). You also have some small quests there. At the moment I am farming the first instance (Elyos side) with random parties - you can get best equip for your level there. However the yellow weapons are really rare... so I still haven't got it yet - you really need to be very lucky. But other stuff as necklaces, earrings, rings, armor etc. shouldnt't take you too long....

The instance itself is not as complex as e.g. Gnomeregan in WoW, I would say its more of the "Palisade", "Monastary" type. You walk through a dungeon with some different named bosses in. I don't know anything about the 2nd instance yet except it is some kind of evil laboratory (with all kind of experimential monsters), but I'll try it out soon

I'm just wondering, are there several types of difficulty (comparing to WoW's 'Heroics'), or is it just an instance with loads of drops and whenever you're lucky you get the good stuff. Gnomeregan was pretty cool though, just like Sunken Temple. Pretty complex but for me that's the challenge.

only 1 difficulty at the moment, and getting a pair of drops out of it isn't hard, the unique items however, have a quite low drop chance.

Hmm the very rare items are actually yellow in game - at least to my eyes (but they should be orange hmm^^)

But Fleiva is correct theose items are really rare... maybe I had 1 drop per 10 boss kills - and then you can only hope that it is the weapon type you need. Like I said I still didnt get my bow^^

@Danayo: There are currently no different difficult levels for the instance.

While there are only 2 instances atm, there are other open world dungeons with bosses that any1 can go into, correct?

Are there Lockouts on them?(Assuming answer is yes) If then for how long?

How are the bosses LD. Typical boring tanker doing everything or do the bosses sort of have stages to them to which you actually have to switch tanks or move away from them or something like that >.<?

Even though Aion wants to center around PvP, I have to say that I was surprised on the quality of the instances and the monsters. Surely they are not that complex as you know from WoW - but they are also not comparable to the one from L2 or PerfectWorld...

The end boss (Comrede) actually has 2 stages, because once she is below 20% health, Robe or Leather users need to take care and move away to get not hit - she is also putting traps on the floor etc.

Surely I still don't know about the bosses of the second instances, from what I heard they will be more hard... (the first instance also got toned down quite a bit)

P.S. However many people try to go the easy route and are going in with more higher level players and with 5-6 people. I once did it with 3 people and have to say that was really challenging - we didn't die once ^^
On the other side one time I was in with a 5er party and they were not able to kill the boss, I really don't know what they did wrong, but the tank always lost aggro, 2nd damage dealer died and after that priest and the rest

And you can enter all 4 of them as far as i know.
