wow, normally in mmos i play either tank classes, or warrior dps classes, but in this the summoner sounds very appealing and I cant decide on warrior class or summoner.

I read that if you become skilled enough you will be able to transform into an elemental? wtf! thats badass

any thoughts?

Well, you could just wait for some more info, and then I would just go with whichever one sounds most fun to you

Wait till they talk more about advanced classes. Maybe warriors can become dragon spearmans and use fire magic with poles to kill people or something

They both sound badass though. I might have to go warrior, cause thats what im used to lol

how cool would it be to turn into a giant fire elemental though? tearing through stuff, ohh man that would be SICK!

I prefer playing a class that i always see my character in normal state, It's fun to be a big bear in wow or a lion but not for long.

I would probably just wait till they at least release the Fallen info. By then you should have a greater understanding of the classes being offered and also a greater understanding of possible racial bonuses.

I think it was from the aionfuse translations, beneath the school of mages > summoner.

It's just one way of interpreting that sentence. There's a couple possible ways of interpreting it, most of which make a little bit more sense.

Aye. Being the buff pet to the tank class is really all I know from L2 but with this new Aion stuff thats going on, I'm thinking of actually doing something different. I hated Nukers in L2 cause they were WAAAY overpowered (stupid necromancers) but in this case, I'm thinking I might just say WTH and role me a nuker class. Maybe this time the downtime waiting for Mana won't bore me to death.

Hmm, I could very well imagine the summoner fusing with it's pet to create something powerful by using DP, and let's set the time limit to 2min.

yea, kind of like a frenzy mode or somthing?

I just hope the classes are somewhat balanced, although I do realize its tuff to have every class on a level plane, because that is what teamwork and guilds are for.

I'm thinking that if this happens the mage/summoner would get some kind of +dmg for a set amount of time. i.e. Mage infuses with a fire elemental and gets +x dmg to fire spells for 2mins.
