The launcher will download the patch...but it is notoriously slow. If you hate waiting it can be downloaded from fileplanet or gamershell. Even though you have to queue as a non-premium member its still faster than waiting for the launcher.


btw - if you plan to download the patch seperately you might have to make sure the relevant patch files and tmp files are removed form the Aion install directory before it will properly install.

I'm assuming this info works for the retail as well. I had this problem, and I put it to EU in the Settings. However, when I launched the game everything was written in KOREAN.

Is this problem known by others than me, and is there a way to fix it besides re-installing?
