Small notice for Beta Event participants (Regarding installation issues) - Page 2

Thanks alot, this sorted a few things out for me. I was wondering does anyone know or want to make an educated guess on whether you will be able to use the client that i have just downloaded on the actual retail version when it is released to the actual stores. This was the case with AoC if i remember correctly but it could be different here.

Figured this one out the hardway....but I do have a related question.

I try to even think about opening the game and I get a bunch of Gameguard errors. This normal?

Close down your Firewall and anti-virus programs and retry. When GameGuard is patched you can keep it turned on.

Anyone know if it is normal for it to start over? I had mine at almost 80% and then all of a sudden back down to 2%? I'm find as long as it is progressing somewhat. I just would hate to have to download this thing 5 or 6 times, though sadly I'm sure some would be envious, as many cannot downlaod it even once.

If this is a known issue and a fix or prevention is known. Please post here so I can check back.

Tried turning off antivirus and firewalls only to have Gameguard error 114 still pop up in a language that I don't know or its just a buncha odd symbols.

Oh well maybe I just havta wait till tomorrow to see the loading screens

Ayase, just to confirm, I've heard around the forum that you said somewhere that Gamestop Preorderers who got their keys early will have access to this weekend's beta....is that true?
