NCSoft wrote to me that I should update my Graphic Drivers and DirectX.. i just thought WTH are they doing?!

I am having a lot of issues trying to download a clean client off there site. Keep getting errors on the client and the repair option does nothing to correct the issue. I trying again for the 5th time, if this does not work for me I am just going to download it from a bt.

I had no problems downloading the Korean & Chinese client but the NA one is bonkered !!! figures

I dun it!!! I downloaded Aion without using the launcher i might get in trouble for doing this but i got the download link from the logfile and downloaded it using DAP.. im currently unzipping the ncpatch file to the directory the launcher was meant to put it.... ill post the results this after noon gtg to school

NCLauncher ist not as good as I thought. Just having some issueses and so on..

When I open the NCsoft launcher and click on Aion to download it, I get to the downloading screen and it says "Connecting" for a few seconds, then says "Retrying connection". Therefore I'm sitting at a constant 0%. Can someone please give me a hint? I've repaired, fiddled with files, and had no results. Please help me.

I finally got a clean client. I think they fixed the client because before it was an older version. This time it did not have to patch.
All I can say is delete the game>defrag your HD> turn off any AV>do the install process again from scratch and try not to run anything else on your computer until the D/L is done. G/L

Any one with the BITS error pm me I have a method to download the game without the launcher and successfully install it

At first I also had errors, but last night I restarted the process after turning off my wireless (laptop) and connecting my lan cable. That was around 11 pm. By 6 AM everything had downloaded perfectly.

I am having the same problem (I'm running vista home pre. Version) I wonder if I'm getting this problem because when I used the Aoin launcher to downlaoded this I stopped downloading it @ around 70% and I turned off my computer on acident and then after I opened the launcher and I had to downlaod the thing all over again it took well over 6 hours to download. And then when I went to launch it, I'm told that I need to make sure I have the latest version of direct x, does anyone know if I update will it fix it. >.> I really want to be able to play as soon as possible because I'm going to meet up some friends.

I was able to play just fine the entire weekend, my son however had issues. Every time he would lunch the game he would get a pop up saying aion has encounter a problem and it needs to close. Did anyone get this? we dont know what to do, tried reinstalling but nothing. Please any clues as to what to do will be appreciated. Thanks
