Thank you for your help, Amarith. I do trust my friend implicitly, so that might be the way to go. Sadly, we are having a heck of a time getting the game to load on my computer. lol Seems like everything that could go wrong for this, has.

I'm just wondering why I have a copy of both the EU and NA version in my client folder. Is this normal? It made for rather a hefty download, unfortunately

Im having a problem with installing the game. Just got myself a beta key and added it, downloaded the game installer, but it stops with this: Unable to Contact Launcher Update Server. Anyone who can help me?

OK quick question.

I originally got a beta key from NCsoft and DL'd the game. No problem.

Then after the first beta I finally got my pre-order code and entered it straight into my NC Master account. A few days later after talking to a friend I found out that his pre-order DL'd files are larger than mine that I DL'd through the beta invite. Is this goin to screw me over with the early play and character creation stuff later?

Your best bet would be to fire up the NCSoft launcher and try to start Aion. It will probably try to patch itself. The client, currently, should be Version 1.0.2.12. This may or may not be updated for CB4, but will definitely change for the release (and subsequently, early access).

If for any reason the Launcher fails to update Aion, there are a number of threads on this board detailing how to download Aion, using both the Launcher and direct downloads. Find which method works best for you and try a fresh re-install.

Alright, not sure if this is the right place or not, but I wonder.

I've already received the pre-order key that put my Aion Account status to pre-order.
Is this simple fact enough to enable me entering the beta weekends when they start, or do I need to receive an additional key before every remaining beta test?

The pre-order key works for every beta.
