Small notice for Beta Event participants (Regarding installation issues)

Sorry if this has already been covered but i am slightly worse for the ware on meds at the moment and cant find the answer..

I have installed the client from the NCsoft site and it all looks good to go, up untill the point it starts the hacking prevention feature then it gives me an error box with Gameguard error 114 and a bunch of text in funny letters what makes no sense at all to me.

Anyone else having this problem when they try to play..or does anyone know a solution?...I am hoping its basically because the servers are not up yet or something...but i doubt it because of the weird code text.

please help...really want to get into the weekends focus testing.

Anyone know the time zone that the Aion beta servers turn on at? Since its probably something like 12:00 Friday 31 for CB5 which time zone is that in? Does each server turn on at 12 per time zone or could you potentially get on at 9:00 your time if the released time zone has a -3 hour difference. Halp plz

I just got my key yesterday after I pre-order from Steam and I got access to the beta on my Nsoft.
Downloading the EU version didn't work for me, so I downloaded the US version. But my region setting is set to EU so it should work out fine.


I know that the beta is not up yet, but I just had to try to log in and see what message would be displayed on my screen.
I got this message "We are sorry but this account does not currently have access to Aion". Is this the right message that is displayed before the beta goes live again, or is it something wrong with my account?

received beta key, installed cleint using key...get to login and it gives me a message saying "were sorry but this account does not currently have acess to Aion"?? Was so excited to be a part of beta testing in game QQ Is this a login problem, is the server not up?? not sure what to do...

I pre-orderd Aion yesterday from GameStop, got the key, activated my account and got the installer. I opened the Ncsoft launcher and began patching/installing Aion and I have been patching up now for.....14 hours now....It keeps patching the same file...

I am at version 0.0.0.0 and its installed the patch to 1.0.2.10 5 times now.... HELLP!!!!

If you want it to go faster download the full client from fileplanet or gamershell... You dont need to sign up for the pay services just wait in the queue and it takes about 5 hours to download all 9GB.

Clean install means uninstall the game, remove all folders and any files that are left over, if you know how check there are not registry entries and remove them (if you dont know how it is best tnot to do this manually, restart the machine then install the whole client again preferably using the newly released full 1.5 client.

Look for MMO review and fansites... many will have competitions and giveaways... i got my mine because someone posted about a giveaway in these forums.
