Though we didn't get to see character creation today, players will begin their journey's across Atriea by picking a class and completing basic quests up through level 10 at which point players will be able to choose a secondary class based on their first choice and become one of the Daeva. These Daeva are the upper class of Atriea affording them access to better areas of the world and also granting them wings.

This sounds like the system used in the Star Wars KOTOR games.

I fear secondary classes may simply refer to what we already know, start as a warrior for instance and at level10 you'll get to pick either Fighter or Knight, I may be wrong though.

That's how i read it, pick warrior or mystic and then at lvl 10 choose the next path to becoming the class you want. Not a secondary class but a class change.

well depends on what you call secondary class, I seen it when some games call the 2nd class change secondary class........they both basicly have the same meaning BUT that not NcSoft wording is ti or is all that stuff worded by who ever made that article

I don't know. It seems that once you create your character your a human. Quest till you get level 10 and then perform a quest(Bring some weird water or whatever they said). Once you complete the quest you become an Elyos and gain wings. At that level you choose a class(From the eight we have seen).

It's like in Maple Story. 1-10= Newbie character with no specific class. Change class at 10.

at start, u choose a school (of warriors, scouts, mages, clerics), then at lvl10, u choose one of the 2 classes in that school..

"Once a member of the Elyos ascends and becomes a Deva, they can enter the Deva only city of Sanctum. This is a floating city of the highest kind of fantasy and while we were only able to see a small portion, what was on display was impressive."

Hmm I see, to it's more of a specializing transfer than a complete class change. Makes sense.
