Play by hour time card for western/oceanic aion?

Why would you even want a pay-by-hour time card? That makes absolutely no sense to me unless your going to spend like 5 hours a month playing it.. And if thats the case, go play solitare.

I play about 2-3 hours a night almost every night and it ended up costing me roughly $10 for the whole month to play. So for me it better option.

I play every weekend in arcades, I pay for every 10 minutes of play, why the hell wouldn't I be able to do this per hour for Aion if I wanted to. Paying a month upfront for MMO when you can get bored of them after 1 hour is why I'm not even playing any atm.

If the pay-by-hour was about the same price as CN-USA it would be alot cheaper for those of us who dont play 4+ hours a day everyday.

Pay by the hour just screws over people who play a lot. $15 a month is a perfectly fine price, honestly trying to charge any other way in NA would be suicide for NC soft.

Although I dislike it, Elaith is right, NA pretty much has to do $15 a month just out of tradition. And the fact it gets them more money, people are willing to pay it so why would they change.

I've never understood this logic. If 15$ / month was "fine" then why are F2P so successful in the West?

An option to choose between pay by hour and monthly would be a wonderful thing to do, but idoubt that'd happen.

A big reason why pay by the hour is so popular in the East and not in the West is because a lot of people in China and Korea don't own their own personal computers, or don't have personal internet access and can only play by going to lan centers (which they have to pay by the hour THERE and than pay by the hour to NC soft, so they really aren't getting a deal), whereas in the West almost all of their customers have personal computers and personal internet connections.
