Chinese won't ever get a patch. No, more like they REFUSE to patch.

Heres something you must understand about the Chinese Government. They hate MMORPG's. Why? they clog up their youth's freetime. More like, INVADE the learning time.. or what they assume. Its why theres child accounts preventing (or discouraging) the gameplay of more than 5 hours. They encourage their youth to learn as much as they can, as doing that will get them a bright future.

This is why Chinese servers are full of bots. No response from SDO on the bots? Well, aint that too bad, bots free up the kids' free time from the work they would need to do on their chars, letting them get the endgame as well as more free time available to spend on education.

And this relates to 1.1 How? Heard some rumors on how 1.1 had a code modification to prevent bots. Theyre afraid to patch the game as it *might* kill the bots.

At least thats what I see. Dont have to believe me :P

Well I came to Aion from a game called Silkroad. Now trust me, if you want bots..and a company that doesn't care about said bots, you go to silkroad. With each server literally having all 3.5k of its slots occupied at all times, and with about 3000 of those players being bots, I understand why the Chinese version may never get this patch. Joymax(company that made silkroad) may do it for the money, instead of "learning time", but it's the same principle.
Here's hoping that it will be patched, cheers.

On another note, I'm deeply confused, Is this coming to the Chinese servers? or....Is this just a translation of the old K-Aion Patch notes. I currently play C-Aion and it needs this patch like a hobo needs a ham sammich. It would be wonderful news if this was going live on C-Aion.

Its been done a while ago for Korean servers. NA aion is probably going to come out with 1.2 or 1.3.

C-Aion is still 1.0, no news on the 1.1 update plans. Yes C-Aion does very much need the update.

Is there no equivalen of the Daevinian armor set for the Asmodian side? Seems kind of unfair to give Eylos such an awesome quest armor set without giving the Asmodians something similar.

Devanion set/weaps are for both races. Elyos and Asmodians each have 2 quests to get an armor piece, and once that set is complete each race has a single quest for the weapons.

Do the armors look different for the Asmodian side? These look way too cute and fluffy to be something that an Asmodian would wear =P

These patch notes really do fill me with confidence after experiencing the somewhat hamstrung UI functionality present in the 1.0 NA/EU beta client. It seems the devs are way ahead of us on what needs implementing into the game.

Thank you 'Thats Too Bad' for translating this set of patch notes. I really enjoyed the beta but left it slightly concerned that needed changes wouldn't see the light of day for some time due to the language barrier between the devs and western players. It now seems there is little need for such concern.

Awesome translation of the patch notes, and some good patch notes they are indeed!

Really looking forward to 1.2, though I must say im not too fond of the "send items between your characters", because it means that any person who has an advanced character can quickly gear up an alt, which I think is a bit of a shame, but we will see how it goes! Im still 100% enthusiastic
