hi i'm new here sorry if this has already been asked before.

In Aion you have the ability to fly, i'm just curious will this be something your character gets to keep and roam around the world freely, or will flying be something like a "Flight Path" (like in WoW)

well if i´m wrong plz korrect me:-)
as far as i know there will be teleporters for long ways because u will have a flight limit.
so yes u get to keep your wings but u will have to use them carefully and try to take advantage out of them. some atacks only work if u fly.
and i think the abyss (pvp zone/middle part of the world) is a zone were u can fly freely without time limit.

Anyone know what kind of interaction raids and dungeons are going to be, I mean is it going to be like only 5 people for end game stuff. I'm really hoping for more than that.

Will Aion be just like Guild Wars, if you buy it you can play it and no subscription is needed?

No, you will be able to fly freely.
But you have a limit of "time" you can fly.
It prolly will be a timer, plus a skill timer.
So far, i have no idea about the cooling down system.
Maybe other members know.

Yes I believe there is jumping as well as climbing.

That's an old date, estimate of Q2 2008, they are shooting for a worldwide release with dates as close as they can get them.

my only concern is: is there going to be Us servers and Eu, or there will be a big "pool" and everybody is playing in one server, in different channels?

i'm asking this because i know that a few hardcore clan is coming to AION, and most of them are from US.

Oh no, more waiting.
I've been waiting so long.
Hope there will be a closed beta for us soon.
If not, I'll play Perfect World or Rose Online meanwhile.
But do you know wich month of 2008 is estimated?

We don't know much about it yet, but it seems logical to get EU servers for Europeans.

It's also economical for mother earth. Imagine lots of players in EU/NA only connecting to NA servers. The light-wave cables at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean would produce heat (due the high Internet traffic) and accelerate the global warming!

As i have read and watched in some old videos players use a kind of attack called divine power which caused great damage to their opponents. Is that still in game because i havent seen anyone in beta using it?
