i have a question (again^^)
i know that there are different types of elements ( olso for summoner) ive seen fire, water and earth... but what about a wind elemental???
is there one or don´t they know jet or will there never be one?

There is one, I've seen it in one of the gameplay movies. It looks like a little white dog type thing. (Unless there is another pet class that I missed.)

Spiritmasters will find themselves an integral part of any adventuring party due to their ability to summon and control fierce creatures based on the four cardinal elements of Earth, Fire, Wind and Water.

And I don't think there is a video about wind element...

Thanks! I would recommend that questgivers show up on the mini-map. This was a huge help when they added it to WoW. I found quests that I never even knew existed because the questgiver was hidden in some corner or alcove.

mmorpg is about exploration, if everything is shown, given without a little bit of searching, that's not fun !

Gah I like it when you have to talk to every NPC just to see if there's any quests, when there's markers and knowing where to go makes the scenery go by so fast. ; ;

Let's just remove quest icon's all together. And quest logs too. You should have to write down everything that you kill, and remember from a quest dialog that you have to kill 10, and no quest announcement that you have killed 10 mobs, so you have to go back to the quest giver to find out you haven't killed 10 mobs yet.


Seriously. There are games like this, and they die fast. I played CoX for a while, RFO for longer, and WoW for about a year. CoX and WoW both have quest giver and turn in icons and they make things alot easier and more fun, because you aren't wasting time running around the city looking for a quest giver that's hidden behind 3 walls in a pit.


I have 4 70's in WoW, and on my last one, when they turned on this feature, I STILL found quests that I had never seen before. It made the game much more fun.

I have a question: does anyone know the sort of variety you will have within your own class that you pick? I have heard about the stigma system for wearing different types of armor, but I was thinking specifically skills. Will there be ways to customize your character to make them unique from other people in the same class, or is that pretty much exclusive to the Stigma system?

Sort of early to be asking this, but any information known about it is helpful.

AFAIK it's a no-variety of skills/stats (as they are all the same for each class). Stigma is somewhat a mystery to me yet, but it seems yuo can add some "special" enhancements but to the items only, so eg. you can stigma-change your weapon to be giving fire dmg, or (as some people here posted) can add the abilities of your favourite items to a new one (to improve the looks).
But that might not be fully correct (as I need to go into the whole "stigma" thingie a little deeper).

The Sigma system will help you customize yourself. There is also an skill tre you can use at higher levels... there have been several screenshots of it. On top of that. Asmodians and Elyos have race specific skills unavailable to each other.

Question:

Will there be some sort of raid frames? In the raid movies I've seen, it looks like you can only see your own party. Will there be any way to see other parties in the same raid, or are the raids just a couple separate parties, since there are no instances?

i believe cut scenes and raiding will be instanced? or could someone correct me on that.. pretty sure i heard it on the Ken Choi interview

I know that the big raid bosses will be instanced, but as for the mini raid bosses (like the little ones running around normal areas) will be normal.

I'm taking this knowledge from L2, so they may decide to either change that or not go with it at all, but at the least, big raid bosses will be instanced, and probably quest locked (can't get to them unless you do a certain quest)
