Yes, there will be EU/NA betas. We're planning to kick things off sometime during the first half of this year.

I may of missed it but i Squizzed through the classes and it doesn't seem to mention anything about them.

No information on that right now, I'm afraid.

Edit: The beta is still being planned on our part. I will let you know how it's going to work once we know it ourselves.

Too bad, I (and from what I've seen others too) really hope we can have a choice to be on the same servers.
Sure, you may not get the best ping ever, or maintenance could come at a bad time (peak-hours), but it would be well worth it to get such a diverse community.
In FFXI (yeah that game again ) I made many NA and Japanese friends, and am still in contact with some of them this day, almost 4 years later.
Also for people with abnormal playing times (working nightshift or evenings for example) this would mean there would still be more then enough people to play with.
As you may have noticed, this is a big concern to me .

Not sure if this has been asked but i doubt you have info on this do you have an estimate number on how many people will be bale to attend the Aion beta EU/US?

EDIT: also will there be an certain time beta servers will be open for?

Spiritmasters are Aion's only pet class. They are similar to WoW's Warlocks and FFXI's summoners in teh fact that their pets are elementals and they player character is a caster/mage type.

Drake - as Ayase said, they are still playing the beta. Considering they don't even know if the EU/NA betas will be combined yet i doubt they know how many testers they are admitting or how may hours we can play. But, hey sicne the server cap is 5000 you can at least be sure you wont have more then that in game with you.

another quick one will there be a lock on that really locks EG you can press left and it will move around the mob like the lock on in ffxi ?one thing i really hated about lotro that there was no ture lock on

I would love for EU, NA and even Asians all to play together.
First because of playing-times.
For example, if I want to play during the night, not many other EU people would be on, but there would be more then enough NA's on.
Second, I think it's just nice to get to know people from all around the world.

thank god some one else thinks that way i said this back on page 17-18 i really really hope they do it this way just like ffxi its ncie to mix with dif people from over the world it helps clans guilds and linkshells as have a mix always people around for a events this would be a hudge + for them if they mix the server's (is praying to Nsoft for this ) and thats what mmorpgs ment to do bring dif people from all over the world in to one place to met people

I watched some videos with chanters and looked at the translated skill list and noticed that the buffs had ranges you needed to be in to get them.

I was wondering if you had to be in the party to get the buffs or just in range of the chanter?

Both. Mantras = Aura in WoW.

I'm not sure if this question been asked and answered already, but how is NC plaining to do Beta once it reaches NA/EU I know its still in plan, but are they going to use the same method for the Koren Beta as for NA/EU?
