Only time will tell. If NC Korea is still as top dog as they are in controlling other games, you'll be seeing a lot more Korean influences than US/EU ones.

not sure if this has been asked and answered in old threads, but anyone knows if Aion's world will be instanced like Guild Wars? cause if it is, i can just stop reading right now and go back to wow. nothing kills a mmorpg for me like GW instancing. its like playing a offline rpg by yourself, while going to check the game's forums occasionally (towns)

No, the game is not instanced like GW. It has large open zones similar to Final Fantasy XI.

well, i guess what i was really trying to find out is that the world is like guild wars, where only you (or your party) can be together in any particular zone, or area, or if the entire world is completely open to everyone on the server, like wow.

this not counting ofc, instances (dungeons) and the abyss.

The Elementalists have elemntals that they can summon, but we haven't heard anything about actual pets yet.

Right now, they have players getting their wings at level 10.

Once upon a time, they did say that yes there would be a crafting system. But it has been so long since any official news about this has occured that I'm wondering if I imagined it. As for the setup, I have no idea I don't think very many details were ever given.

Yes there will be. That much I can confirm based on previous interviews. A little more information...

Daeva can apparently gather a kind of mineral from the air that can be used in crafting.

And finally, there will be no crafting specific classes (like the dwarves of Lineage 2) but instead, through trade skills you can 'master' crafting.

The latest actual retail release dates is sometime Q1 or Q2 2008. Basically, no, there is no release date yet.
