I thought i heard originally that the game was gonna be realeased before the end of 2007 but then they pushed it back to be in the Q1 of next year... probably will come out around the same time as WARHAMMER and AoC...
not sure how THAT one will work out... i have a feeling though Aion will get the short end of the stick as there is hardly any hype at all so far about Aion... in fact i only heard about the game THROUGH the Warhammer forums... how sad is that?

Warhammer is going to be pretty big. But I would say that the predominant amount of the asian market will be playing Aion. I'm just glad that they decided to release an English version of the game in NA/EU, I consider us lucky.

i have seen the classes , but i haven't understood yet if there will be any races, or abilities customization at the creation of char, i mean i there are no races and simply choose a char like guildwars (i think), whould be any customization at the abilities or they will be fixed like lineage (i'm talking about STR DEX ... etc)

and which are the fractions in the game i only know about the dragons :P

There are 3 factions and 2 playable races. The Factions are Elyos, Asmodians and the Balaur (Balur?). The Balur (dragons) are computer controlled and come in to balance PvP or RvR between the Elyos and the Asmodians. The Elyos and Asmodians are the two playable races, the first lives in the light and the second in the dark. They will look different in appearance and we don't really know if there will be differences in stats, but I doubt it.

I'm glad this got implemented it will be so helpful when the game comes out

anyway i think what outlawz was asking was if players will be able to determine their stat progression. It seems that neither fixed nor flexible is more popular than the other, I've seen games with both. If it's felxible it allows you to customize your character to a specific role while fixed gives you one less thing to worry about and stat growth is the same for everyone.

I haven't seen anything addressing this recently but I would like to know the answer as well - it does make a big difference in games =)

That stats are static, you don't have a say in how they increase as you level up.

Hello, everyone, i would like to know about the AION gear system. I want know if gear parts like, chest, legs, shoulders, bracers and others are dropped together, i mean, the whole stuff in the same invetory and body slot, or what?
Every single screenshot i`ve seen the characters are using like a SET, thats why i want know if there are diferent amor set with diferent parts.

Korean Closed Beta is scheduled for October 31st, we're not sure about an international one yet.

There isn't a place to download it, the game has yet to even hit closed Beta.

Hi, my first post. Yeah, i'm wondering if Aion will be available for Mac's as well. Also, is there a chance Ncsoft will be at TGS next month? I checked the TGS list and they weren't there, but i'm hoping for a last minute entry.

There haven't been any word of compatability with Mac's. I hear about a program that emulates windows or something through a mac. Not too sure on the details but i would imagine there would be a work around with that sort of program running.
