Just thought I'd get back on this one!

Of course the thing with naming conventions and whether names will be divided in to first-/surnames or not is something that can change, especially since different regions have different needs. After all, one of the benefits of an MMORPG is that it is dynamic and to a certain extent, changeable.

As for RPs, I'm guessing you mean 'Role-playing Servers'. I can't really comment, since I'm afraid I can't confirm if we will have such particular servers in the first place.

It occurred to me that, on this forum, people have chosen a race (I chose Elyos, for starters).
Won't we be able to play both races simultaniously? For example, I'd like to have an Elyos Templar and an Asmodian Gladiator, for a little variety. That's possible right? I'm sure it is, but it seemed a bit vague to choose a race while you'd want to play the other race too.
Also, sorry if this has already been brought up, I'm too lazy to read 50 pages.

One more thing, I'm not even sure if my system can support Aion. I'm not really aware of system requirements and all that, all I know is that my computer has the following:

- AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+
- 2.20 GHz, 1.00 GB
- Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT

That's about all I could find

Anyway, you can, but on different servers.

I've also found a little section about requirements.
It says:
Minimum -> CPU: Pentium 4 2,8 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Recommended --> CPU: Pentium 4 3,0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3000+

I've got AMD Athlon 64 3500+, but only 2,2 GHz.. or is that something completely different?
I don't know very much about computers, so this confuses me a little bit, sorry.

Those requirements are for the Korean closed beta and not for when the game goes retail.

Your computer should be able to run Aion, but not on high settings. I know it can be confusing, but the clock speed of the processor ( 2.2 ghz for yours) isn't a good measure of performance. If you're interested in upgrading some parts (maybe the RAM), it would be a good idea to start a thread in The Basement, and people will help you out .

I see, well by the time Aion releases I'll be sure to try it out and decide if I want to upgrade my system. I'll have to keep going with the flow anyway

I've got a question . What about hardcore guilds always taking the fortresses? Is there any chance for smaller more midcore guilds? Cause if not those people will always have to pay a tax to get the benefits from the fortresses. Was wondering about this while I read jameinkaiser's abyss translations. Anyone got ideas about this?
