But I like how there's no mention of when those Open Beta dates are, so in actuality, we really don't know if this delayed the game or not...

Atleast they didnt change the open beta and release dates, tough im not reallly sure if open beta and the release wont be delayed later on.

Actualy this makes sence to me.
Let me explain why.
The July 31st date is very close now and I am guessing that NCSoft are not quite ready yet.
Also at the end of Next month 31st August A-Net (who work with NCSoft) are releacing Guild Wars Eye of the North. New realices generaly take some time to get all/ the vast majority of the bugs, and other problems worked out.
Therefor I think NCSoft gave A-Net a 2 month cool down period for GW:EN and it gives NCSoft more time to polish the game. Which can only be a good thing.

Yeah me too, I got more than enough time to re-pimp my room and get a new computer. I hope it launches in January I got 1 month college vacation during winter .

I very much doubt it had anything to do with the release of EotN. It's a bit sad though that the new info that might've slipped out from the Beta now will have to wait, but if the end result is a more polished client, all is well. As long as the release isn't delayed.

Not too disappointing. The game gets further improved and the delay doesn't really effect us anyway.

In Hellrose's translation, it would seem the delay was for marketing reasons, and so it could very well be due to EotN.

Seriously though, I was looking forward to new video footage and info from those Korean testers. Now we wait until October...........
