Erm well if your say RFo autofaced when u click on sumthign then that is wrong you only auto face the min you attacked........................as for the dagger class they can still put auto face in and they can still attack from behind you must not really know how it auto faces works, hwe wasnt talking about wehn someone atak u u turn around or sumthing its not like that. He was saying I think when u attack someone and you back is faceing them u automaticly turn around and face then ot if u chain a lot of attack and they run around you u spin with them attacking.
From what I read you can move around as you are attacking unlink in RFO you have to wait tell you finished firing off you spell or attack...........Plus i dont see how auto facing = easy mod like a few said there many things that can bc called easy mod so ya dont see the point to complan about this |

Daggers classes usualy get confusions stuns and stuff... Sos tun then go behind O_o???
But I donot like auto face. However not having autoface Will benefit melee classes way too much. |

I wouldn't really care too much if auto attack facing the target is enabled. It will probably make the game run smoother and look less retarded, although I can see what you mean about skill in PvP.
Just having a target selected and spamming # and F# keys = easy mode. Being able to move while attacking should make up for it though. |

*shrug* CoX has an auto-face target feature and I find it doesn't bother me at all. You'll be running around and jumping and such and your guy turns, fires off his power and keeps going.
On the other hand, the Guild Wars auto-face bugged the living daylights out of me. I don't think that having auto-facing will be that big of a deal. I am sure that the game will still be plenty challenging.

Actually No they clearly stated its a high end looking game programed to run lag free on most systems
- Like GW graphics are better then wow yet system requirements are much much muchhh lower NC soft is good with lag in all Nc soft games I never had lag only when they had problems with their network. Or lineage 2 massive guild fights but thats about it. |

Ya on some games with nice graphics i dont lagg at all bc its useing a good server and used a good engine things that are on crap server/engines noramly i lag on...........but ya this really has nothign to withthe topic is its talking about auto-facing BUT the odd thing in any game jump never lags me out it makes it harder to target

even if combat isnt auto-face, i hope abilities are- i played a Mage in WoW, and it ****ed me off so bad, when a person you where casting on would just jump behind you, and cancel your cast, it made it impossible to do anything.
i would also like an auto camera face- so that the camera automatically faces your target (with a delay so it doesnt move to fast) |

How does a 3d environment indicate there's no auto face when attacking exactly? Ryzom is environment based with mob ai and if I remember correctly there was a lock on target that might have been auto face and it's not a problem as long as you can tab through your targets...

I don't know... i didn't like the RFO thing where you had to stand and attack. I am a run and gun type of player when it comes to pvp cuz i played a rogue in WoW so long i like to run around people and **** them off while trying not to get hit that many times. I see alot of play where the players are just standing there but also a few where they are running so IDK lol. i really just want this to be one of the best best games out there (if not then the best) and the auto facing would kinda dampen the bestness lol
But like mark said "saying some feature = easy mode makes no sense" and he is so true. we get what the game gives us to work with and if someone can use that feature to pwn all then he is just a better play not just some newb. |
