Played GW quite extensively, still nowhere close to the skill involved in DAoC 8v8, and the fact that GW is instanced and daoc isn't is a HUGE thing. There's actually the aspect of surprise which could give you an immediate advantage and whatnot. Not to mention a zerg coming to assjam your fight, but since there's a mutual respect, you stop fighting and kill the zerg, then get back to what you were doing :P

I don't know about any of you, but I had been sucked into some free places, i.e. Flyff or Second Life. These "Free" are far from it, and weighed down by all sorts of farmers and bots. Out of all of the "Free" ones; Second Life because of it's creative appeal, and Mabinogi, just cause it had a certain appeal. Interestingly enough, Perfect World has wings. I hope that NCSoft will attempt to monitor their servers, and terminate any Guild that promotes another game or a leveling service. One guild was advertising Ultima. "haha" NCSoft doesn't need to have that in their servers. Also, I noticed that the crafting in Aion seemed similar to the crafting in EverQuest II. <shrugs> But. Once released, Aion is where I will be flying, role-playing, and PvPing to my hearts content. nom nom nom

That sounds odd. So you have organized 8v8 combat in the middle of the world? Doesn't sound very organized.

Apart from that, GW requires more skill that any other MMO i've seen this far since gear is not a factor. Only thing that matters is actually your skill.

hey hey you have to remember though Diablo came before Ultima online, i know i know you are gonna say "well its not an mmo dude" but that's what got this whole thing started man i played that freaking game everyday i would sleep about 2-3 hours at the most and back then i wasnt old enough to get a job so i would be playing and go "MOOOMMMM!! MEEATTTLLOOAAFFF!! NOOWW!!! F++CCKK!!!" lol kind of like that though.
