Ok, lets put everything concerning problems with receiving your pre-order keys in this one thread . That way it's easier for folks like Ayase to find it and handle it .STA = Store to avoid

list sofar ( add when appropriate )

- Bol.com ( the Netherlands ) - Ayase has assured us this is now solved ,NCsoft will contact the retailer . pre order keys being sent now after many threats,pestering etc. .only orders for CE and before 8th of July get pre order keys . DO NOT PRE ORDER THERE if you want the headstart and pre order items .You will no longer receive a pre order key .Avoid at all cost!!, STA ( with bells on !)
- Fnac.fr ( France - oui,oui ) - apparently solved

- game.co.uk ( UK ) , seems erratic only for some people . Company is waiting for ncsoft to provide them with the keys .folks still complaining about not having received keys

- DLgamer.com ( see detailed post below, could be due to erronous IP-block, needs investigation by NCsoft account management )

- EBgames (Canada,Australia,USA,New Zealand ) ,seems they have as of yet to receive their keys and have no idea when they will arrive. solved, keys available, for those still not having received keys ( or email saying key is on its way ) , contact stores and if that fails , use www.gamesman.co.nz to obtain key ( for New Zealand ) . Elevated to STA, apparently very erratic when it comes to supplying pre order keys even when you have ordered a CE .

- Gamestop : experiencing some problems . Lots of folks not getting pre order keys call when pre ordering and ask for key and keep pestering them

- 12game.com ,apparently solved,sending keys-considering customer support this store would be on my "recommended stores list"

- Play.com. apparently now canceling orders completely- let alone sending keys - even though first sending order confirmations , this one takes the cookie when it comes to bad customer service . STA

- Frys Electronics: aparently didn't realize what those funny looking pre order boxes were for so only now realize they're supposed to send them to customers .apparently now canceling some pre orders as they sold too many, it's now officially upgraded ( or downgraded ) to STA : store to avoid

- freerecordshop ( Netherlands ) - Although there was no indication they'd send pre order keys on the site , they have in fact started sending those .CE apparently sold out .

-Gamemania .Make sure to also check your spam box , because email used for sending pre order keys is different than the one from gamemania .Keys being sent though.

- Amazon ( all regions ) . Apparently canceling orders without valid reason.In addition : people complaining they do not receive pre order keys in time for betas . Amazon has entered the list therefore .
Add: overselling the CE,delays in delivery etc. It's officially elevated to STA


-gogamer, apparently canceling (pre)orders ( this late) without any prior notice .Call at 8889489661 / 8775997378 ASAP if you ordered a CE so they will send you one.

-JB HIFI ,apparently failing to deliver /showing huge delays even when pre-orders were placed . STA









Mind you this isn't a thread for those looking where to buy a CE , but rather for those who have already done so and are experiencing difficulty obtaining pre-order keys .

Also if you post which seller you are having trouble with please explain in detail what the problem(s) is/are so it is easier for Ayasa and others to help you out should there really be a problem with the seller. And also howmany other people you know that have problems with that specific seller.

You can also stop PM-ing Ayase or Liv then as they'll find all the info in this one thread . Refrain from endless discussion,please. Just state the retail store/online site and what you have attempted sofar yourself to obtain the key from that retailer .

Hi Knox,

That is correct. The Aion Preorder codes will give access to the head start, but that will end when the game is launched. At which time you will need to enter your retail serial code to access the game.

No, elsewhere Ayase explained the two will overlap .But this isn't a problem about obtaining the pre-order keys

Youre right, it was more or less a problem with obtaining your serial key. I'm glad to hear Ayase say they will overlap, because apparently the other employees at NC are confused.


edit: I guess my next question would be: Will I have to wait till I apply my retail serial code to the get the in-game items?

I got my Aion EU Preorder Collectors Edition from DLgamer.com yesterday , everything mailed to me , and whenever i try to enter the serial code in my NCsoft main account it says "The game you are attempting to create is not allowed in your region." I already open a support ticket "ask a question" at NCsoft.com about this but still no answer. Here is the mail i got from dlgamer.com. Pls Ayase can u help me ? I love this game alot

I pre-ordered my SE Aion on the same day as a few of my friends, and they have all received there keys, but i haven't

I pre-ordered from Game.co.uk.

Any hints on when i may get it? I've been told it can take up to 2 working days to receive the codes. :/

I preordered a couple of days after CBT 2 from amazon.co.uk and havent recieved a key yet, ordered another copy from game.co.uk yesterday and no key yet either

Amazon.co.uk only sends out keys once before each beta test. They won't send out the next wave until 1 or 2 days before the next weekend (just like they sent out the keys last time on the morning of the 19th).

I pre-ordered from Fnac.com (fr), and they finally delivered the keys a week later than expected and they apologised for that saying they had problems with their supplier:

Use a EU based proxy to bypass it.

However, for further information, where exactly are you located at? You preordered a EU code, so it's logical to assume your in the union somewhere.... are you? If so would be good to post where since it would be a bug that is blocking access.

Now, if your not in Europe, then that is intended at the moment. See the "IP block" thread in this same forum.
